Improvised Fun w/Mom

Don't you love those last minute change of plans that turns out to be the best?!? Kinda how things went for us this past weekend. We planned on heading out to an event when for some reason or another we couldn't find a thing to wear (women!)-the weather wasn't cooperating-the mood just wasn't there. What to do? Not stay home on a Saturday night especially during the 1st weekend of the year. I suggested we head out to the National Harbor since the Christmas decorations are a sight. We did and although the night wasn't filled with fancy stuff the quality time and convos between us was just what I needed. Can't think of a better person to vent with and find strenght. I'm so blessed to have a supporting mother.
